…about kale chips! I had a craving for something salty today. In a weak moment, that might normally lead me to processed crackers or chips. But my new “I’m too close to my pre-pregnancy weight to mess up now” motivation led me straight to kale chips! I haven’t made these in forever. I accidentally got baby kale instead of regular kale, so I was worried it wouldn’t be the same, but it was deee-lish! It’s so weird how much they taste like real chips…I don’t get it…how could kale taste like a potato chip? It makes me feel like I’m doing something bad, but I’m not…it’s pretty much the healthiest thing I could possibly eat! Here’s a picture.
Here’s what you do:
-Buy kale and remove the stems
-Preheat oven to 350 degrees
-Drizzle olive oil and salt the kale, and put it in a pan in a single later
-Cook for 20 minutes (crispy but not burned)
(Remember to put a piece of foil in the pan so you don’t have to clean anything!!! That’s how I roll, the less clean up, the better.)
Make them. I know it might sound weird, but I promise it’s good.
