I just wanted to share some of my very favorite everyday things. I just found my new favorite shirt from Lululemon and it’s officially my new uniform. I bought it in 4 colors, and it’s all I plan on wearing every single day for the rest of the fall. It’s designed for “yoga and to and from,” so it’s not made for running or high performance, but it’s nice that you don’t have always have to look like you just worked out, but you still get the comfort of Lulu. It looks like a normal shirt, but it’s the quality of Lulu, meaning it will hold up, not shrink, not get bally (the worst). I love it so much I had to share.
Love Scoop Long Sleeve
It’s so soft, and it’s loose but not so loose that it doesn’t give you shape, and it is the PERFECT length. I plan on wearing this with my lulu pants and then when someone forces me not to wear real clothes, I’ll wear this with jeans, booties and fun jewelry for a casual night out.
I am no fashion expert, but I do know a thing or two about workout clothes. I really and truly only wear Lululemon. I’ve tried other brands, and it’s just not the same. Lululemon is expensive, but with that being said, I’m still wearing the same clothes that I bought 5 years ago and they look brand new. So even though the price tag might be hard to swallow sometimes, if it lasts and hold ups through the 8 million runs, strength training sessions, hot yoga classes, not to mention 1 million washes, etc. it’s completely and totally worth it for me. Here are some of my favorites.
Wunder Under Hi Rise (Crops and Pants)
These are my absolute favorite pants/crops. They are so flattering with the perfect amount of compression (so there is no jiggle) and they have a high waist, so it’s like wearing comfy maternity pants that hold you in without having to be pregnant…doesn’t get better than that. I have these in crops for working out and full length to wear with boots (or to yoga).
The Align Pant
These are my favorite to wear everyday. They are supposed to make you “feel like you’re naked”, and they really do. Seriously, it doesn’t get more comfy than these. They have less compression, so I don’t wear these for intense workouts or running, but I love to wear them to yoga or just everyday around town. And again, the high waistband, which is a game changer.
Cool Racerback
These are the only tops that I workout in. I literally have 8 million different colors of the cool racerback. When you find something that you love, you stick with it, right?
There you have it…all of my favorite things.
When I’m not allowed to wear workout clothes and have to get dressed up in real clothes like an adult, I’m lost. For that reason, I’ve been completely obsessed with my friend’s new business, Mulberry and King. You can shop on their website, but they post a few items each week on Instagram. They have limited quantities, so it’s like the Hunger Games commenting on the post and making sure that you secure your size. So, I get to leave the whole “figuring out what is in style” and what I need in my closet up to her, and then I buy it all on Instagram in what has turned into a really fun game. It’s pretty awesome. And the best part…the price point. Everything is under $100 (usually more like $45-$65). Follow @mulberryandking on Instagram, it’s awesome.
