So, today was my last day of work. I am having such mixed emotions about it…it really is crazy. I love my job, and most days, it doesn’t even feel like work. I feel so connected with my clients, and they have truly become an important part of my life. On the other hand, my body is telling me to stop! As I enter my third trimester, my doctor thinks it is best that I stop working. It’s time for me to take some time off and rest before my life gets completely rocked by these two sweet little girls. I’m also excited about going to the gym every day as a member and having the flexibility to go to the spin and yoga classes that I want to go to. I’m going to work out as long as my doctor will let me. (Although my new definition of working out is VERY different than what I normally do). I’m also hoping to use this time to get back into my blog. Every day on my break, I have to make the choice between napping and blogging, and so far a nap has won every single time. Hopefully, I can use the blog to feel connected to the fitness community.
Last week, Miles and I did a Babies Bump photo shoot with the amazing Alice Keeney. We went out to Boone Hall Plantation (yes, that’s where Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds got married) and took some shots of our little family (okay, it’s not so little), and then afterwards we did some yoga photos. I wanted to have some good photos of us to show the girls what it was like when they were in my belly. I also wanted to show my little future yogis, that they’ve been doing yoga with me their whole lives:) Here are some of the pics from the photo session.
And here are a few non-yoga pics.
